Como resultado se genera una fuerza de torque que el viscos\u00edmetro detecta y lo convierte en un valor de viscosidad. El viscos\u00edmetro es un instrumento de medici\u00f3n exacto pues, a pesar de tener un rango de medici\u00f3n de 1 a 2.000.000 mPa\u00b7s, tiene una precisi\u00f3n de \u00b11,0 %. El sensor de temperatura inmersi\u00f3n es un sensor de resistencia que permite medir la temperatura de los l\u00edquidos en un rango entre 0 y 100 \u00b0C.\nEste viscos\u00edmetro se usa por ejemplo en el control de calidad para comprobar la viscosidad del aceite de motor. El aceite de un motor cambia su viscosidad en base a la temperatura. Aqu\u00ed es donde entra en juego este viscos\u00edmetro de precisi\u00f3n. Gracias al temporizador integrado el viscos\u00edmetro puede funcionar de forma independiente durante el tiempo establecido por el usuario. A la misma vez es posible transferir los valores de medici\u00f3n del viscos\u00edmetro a un ordenador usando la interfaz RS232. El software de este viscos\u00edmetro le puede mostrar la curva de temperatura y tambi\u00e9n la curva de viscosidad, tanto de forma gr\u00e1fica como en tabla. Tambi\u00e9n es posible conectar una impresora directamente al viscos\u00edmetro para imprimir el respectivo valor de medici\u00f3n.\nPuede adaptar el viscos\u00edmetro a las diferentes condiciones de trabajo. Dispone de un unos pies de ajuste y un nivel de burbuja integrado en el cabezal lo que permite posicionar el viscos\u00edmetro correctamente. Gracias a ello se garantiza que el eje de medici\u00f3n est\u00e9 siempre vertical en el medio a ser medido. Adem\u00e1s, puede ajustar la altura del viscos\u00edmetro en un rango de unos 25 cm para posicionar el huso de forma
